- Are the Singapore books written in English?
Yes (except for our Chinese books). English is the medium of instruction in Singapore.
- Do you have a walk-in bookstore?
No. But one of our partners is located in Oregon City, just outside of Portland, and carries a range of our titles. The other partner is in Portland.

How many web sites do you have?

- Are you the official distributor of Singapore books?
Yes. We are the official U.S. distributor of the main publishers in Singapore.
- How do you keep up to date with curricula changes in Singapore?
We maintain very close relationships with all our publishers (we communicate on a daily/weekly basis) who keep us abreast of the latest changes and trends in the Singapore curricula. The publishers periodically air-ship their latest releases for our review and evaluation. We make frequent trips to see our publishers and their key personnel visit us in Portland, too.
- You carry many books, but why not all the books available in Singapore?
It is our mission to bring high quality books to the U.S. and Canadian markets. There are many new books in Singapore but not all are of the same quality. Before we carry a series and list it at our web site, much research and evaluation has been done to ensure that we are picking the best products. It would have been so much faster, cheaper and easier to offer a wide selection of books that are available in the market without doing research. But we are not just an online bookstore. We take pride in choosing and understanding the books before we offer them to you. It is also our goal to support the books we carry with placement tests, sample pages, contents and on-line forum help.
- What measurement systems do the Singapore books use?
Metric system. The Primary Mathematics U.S. Edition has instruction in both customary U.S. measurement and metric measurement.
- Is the term coursebook and textbook the same for the Singapore books?
In Singapore, the term coursebook is the same as textbook. The math textbooks or coursebooks are more of a class activity book, with activities and brief notes to the student, rather than the type of voluminous textbooks we have in the U.S.
- What are the currency denominations?
Singapore currency is in dollars and cents. The coins are denominated in 5 cents, 10 cents, 20 cents, 50 cents and one dollar. The notes are in 1, 2, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 1000 dollar denominations. The Primary Mathematics U.S. Edition uses U.S. currency.
- Do you have a paper catalog or only the on-line catalog?
No, we do not. We try to provide as much information as we can about our products on this website.

We pride ourselves in shipping orders within 1-2 business days (except for when the item is out of stock).

What kind of after-sales support do you provide?
We continue to provide on-line support via our forum. Our forum is categorized into different subjects for easy reference. We encourage customers to share their experiences, problems and solutions. Our forum administrator is also on hand to assist with problem solving.
- What other services do you provide?
We are always in the process of evaluating new books and bringing you the best. There are many books available in Singapore but not all are of the same quality. There are also books that are too culturally specific, and hence not suitable for the U.S. and Canada. Our job is to comb through these books and select those that meet our criteria and your expectations.
