Treks - All Aboard! Health Education takes an integrated, across-the-curriculum approach to the learning and teaching of Health Education.

The texts feature the adventures of eight typical Singaporean schoolchildren as they ride the Magic Railway Train (MRT), a fictional mass rapid transit system, around an island.  At each level, the schoolchildren make stops at eight stations for health.  At each station, a broad health topic is metaphorically represented and specific outcomes of the Ministry of Education's Health Education syllabus are addressed to reinforce pupils' learning.

The workbooks in this series introduce pupils to a variety of performance methods that could be applied anywhere in the curriculum.  Teachers are encouraged to learn their pupils' preference for representing the problem-solving process as well as the outcome. Songs are an important part of the Treks - All Aboard! program.  Humorous action songs are provided on the audio CD to get pupils to sing and dance to the health messages.
