MPH Science Textbook aims to stimulate the young minds of pupils and kindle their interest to find out about things around them.
Developed to meet the new syllabus requirements set by the Singapore Ministry of Education, this Textbook presents science facts in an interesting and exciting way. Amusing illustrations and bountiful photographs make the learning of science come alive. Topics are organized thematically. Examples are taken from things which pupils encountered every day so that they can better appreciate them.

Note: Formal instruction in science in Singapore does not begin until 3rd grade, hence this series is pretty basic at the 3rd grade level. Since these books were written for Singapore students, there are occasional references to things children living in Singapore would be familiar with, such as the names of tropical plants, which children in the U.S. may not be familiar with, such as a rain tree. Pictures and descriptions of such plants can easily be found on the internet.
