| Mathematics Counts - A Topical Approach is a series of mathematics books for primary school pupils written in line with the latest syllabus set forth by the Ministry of Education for use from 2001.
For each topic, well-graded exercises, useful notes and worked examples are given to help the pupils understand the mathematical concepts. Examination papers and revision papers are also provided. Mathematics Counts - A Topical Approach aims to help pupils enhance their problem-solving skills in word problems, besides equipping them with the foundational skills in acquiring number sense.
Problems with an asterisk* are more challenging, and their worked solutions are included at the end of the book. Some enrichment activities are provided to cater for the more able pupils.
Each book in the series contains the following:
