They have helped dozens of schools implement the Singapore Math® curriculum, and thousands of teachers who use it as a supplement. SMARTTraining has teachers available across the U.S., all of whom have taught Singapore Math® programs in classrooms for grade levels from kindergarten through middle school. The depth of their

Dr. Richard Bisk, professor emeritus in mathematics at Worcester State University in Massachusetts, has provided content-based professional development for teachers using Singapore Math® books since 2000. His work focuses on improving the mathematical understanding of teachers and emphasizes the vertical integration of mathematical ideas. Teacher content knowledge is key to developing student understanding and provides the basis for effective differentiated instruction. Dr. Bisk has given presentations on his work and provided professional development throughout the United States as well as in Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Great Britain and Portugal. Marshall Cavendish Education, publisher of the Primary Mathematics textbook series, offers 16 in-school professional development courses from the Marshall Cavendish Institute’s Math Academy. The 16 courses, adapted for the U.S. market and Common Core, offer both Content and Pedagogy-based courses that teachers in Singapore receive. Aspire Math Academy, is based in Vancouver, Canada and provides consulting services and training to teachers all across Canada using the Singapore Math® Curriculum. They offer curriculum adoption and implementation consulting, training programs for teachers, administrators, and school districts.
