| Word Study Workbook is a series of six workbooks written for students aged 6-12.
It is a comprehensive word study program that incorporates a wide range of vocabulary and language activities to expand students' knowledge of words, their meanings and correct usage. The books cover different aspects of word study, including word forms and grammatical concepts. There are activities on sentence construction and creative writing designed to allow students to apply what they have learned. The varied, fun and challenging activities not only help to sustain students' interest but also to develop their thinking skills and general knowledge.
Adopting the spiral and staggered approach, the activities will provide students with constant review as they push on to higher levels of skills. At the end of the program, it is hoped that students will improve their word power and knowledge of English.
