Additional material:

K: There is no HIG for K; instructions are on the pages. It uses a lot of material from around the house. Suggested manipulatives for to have for K are the multilink cubes, various counters, a hundred board, a simple balance, and a clock with geared hands.

1A: various objects to count, two 10-cup egg cartons (remove the extra two cups), 2 sizes of paper clips, play-dough or non-drying clay, set of double-nine dominoes, jigsaw puzzle, dimes and pennies, pattern blocks (optional)

1B: coins and bills, paper plates or bowls, cardboard, square grid paper (or back of hundred board), store cards (made from index cards and coupons/pictures)

2A: drinking straws, toothpicks, coins and bills, 2 sizes of paper clips (standards edition only), string, cardboard, playing cards, plastic zipper bags, beans

2B: coins and bills, store cards (made from index cards and coupons/pictures), calendar, stopwatch, liter, quart, pint, and cup liquid containers, other liquid containers, paper cups, opaque bag, tangrams (copy from back of guide), pattern blocks (optional)
